Barvecue Carnitas are incredibly easy to prepare. Heat up a little oil in a pan, add Carnitas, and char to your liking. Serve them in warm tortillas for a delicious, nutritious, easy meal. 

Or, add Carnitas to your salad or burrito bowl for an extra kick of flavor and protein.

Amazing!

I knew nothing about this product, encountering it by chance at my local grocery store. The pork carnitas are perfectly smoked and seasoned. I am an omnivore, but after eating these carnitas, I’m never eating pork again. Thank you, Barbecue Smokehouse!

Worth Exploring

I've been so curious about this brand ever since glimpsing the 'Carnitas' in store months ago. Finally, there was a special, so I dove in and bought two packs. They stay frozen until you're ready to thaw and cook, which is a pretty simple oil in pan method. Opening the bag, it smells like a taco seasoning packet but not the overbearing ones - a smoky, spicy, citrusy smell. I didn't add any additional seasonings as it cooked so I could taste it as is.

I'm so pleasantly surprised! I didn't really have a plan for making them, but could easily have these as tacos, in protein bowls, added in salads, pretty much anywhere you'd like this particular flavor profile.

Will definitely check out the other options and give them a whirl. Wasn't until I checked the site that I realized that it's an NC company, so it feels nice to have a true plant-based contender here in our barbeque state!
