Ingredients

1 package Barvecue Pulled BVQ

1 carrot, matchstick cut

1/2 cup purple cabbage, shredded

butter lettuce, leaves separated

1/4 cup green onions, chopped

1/4 cup cilantro, chopped

1/2 cup soy sauce
-
1/4 cup balsamic vinegar

1 tbsp brown sugar
-
1/8 cup green onion
-
1/2 garlic clove
-
1/8 tsp minced ginger
-
1/2 tbsp maple syrup

2 tbsp slurry (1 tbsp water + 1 tbsp cornstarch) to help the sauce thicken

For the sauce:
Whisk all sauce ingredients (except slurry) together in a small saucepan. Bring to a boil, then reduce to a simmer. Strain after 12 minutes of reducing. Add back into the saucepan over heat.
In a separate small sealed container, make slurry by mixing 1 tbsp water with 1 tbsp cornstarch. Add slurry to the saucepan with strained sauce. Whisk to combine. Simmer for 8-10 minutes, until the sauce has thickened. Set aside.
For the lettuce wraps:
In a large skillet, cook Pulled BVQ according to package instructions. Remove from heat.
Mix in 2 tbsp of the sauce with the Pulled BVQ, then save the remaining sauce for topping your wraps.
- 2. Assemble lettuce wraps by scooping Pulled BVQ mixture into lettuce leaves and topping with vegetables and cilantro. Drizzle with more sauce if desired.
